A person has been arrested in Tokyo on suspicion of killing a pigeon that he reportedly filmed himself abusing.
Hiroshi Tsuji, a 49-year-old taxi driver from Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, allegedly captured the hen on the aspect of a river within the Japanese capital someday between April and June 2024, native media shops reported.
He is accused of beating and whipping the animal earlier than killing it in some unspecified time in the future between June and August, Japanese information company Kyodo reported.
