Snow looks set to hit Wales and Northern Ireland before spreading eastward with the East Midlands likely to see 5cm of snowfall. The flurry is expected to affect northern England and Scotland too.
However, it seems that East Anglia and southern England shall be spared from the frosty blanketing, together with counties like Berkshire, Bucks, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Wiltshire. The thickest layer of snow is ready to envelop the Scottish Highlands with predictions of as much as 9cm.

The Pennines may anticipate about 8cm, while North Wales could receive around 5cm.
