A passenger recounted a tense episode involving an emergency landing when the easyJet flight traveling from Hurghada, Egypt to Manchester was redirected to Athens due to a pilot’s medical crisis.
Upon arriving in Athens, emergency services awaited on the runway as the co-pilot successfully brought the aircraft down safely.
One unnamed traveler shared their story with Manchester Evening News, revealing that around two hours into their journey something felt off. While cabin crew distributed beverages, they were abruptly called towards the cockpit area where an individual had collapsed.
