A video claiming that USAID, the US authorities’s most important abroad help company, has paid Hollywood celebrities tens of millions of {dollars} to go to Ukraine has gone viral on social media and has been amplified by high-profile accounts like Elon Musk.
However, the clip shouldn’t be actual and has hallmarks of a Russian disinformation operation that the BBC has beforehand investigated.
